What is the value of Camp Stella Maris to you? Is it the spiritual growth that one feels when they are given the time to pray? Is it the friendships formed, whether they last a week or a lifetime? Is it the sense of belonging to a community where everyone can be accepted? Or is it the personal growth, both physically and mentally, that occurs when a safe and nurturing environment is created.

For 83 summers, Camp has provided the opportunity, the staff, the facility, and the programming, for thousands of our youth to spend a week or two challenging their fears, developing their dreams and growing ever closer to their potential.

Camp Stella Maris is completely funded by generous donations and program fees. While we continually look to increase efficiencies and seek out opportunities for cost-savings, we are not exempt from challenges in today's economy. Your support will help to ensure the quality you've come to expect from CSM.

How your generous gift will be put to work this year

Camperships - This year, as in every year since 1977, we put aside 10% of resident camp enrollment, approximately $90,000 in 2009, for need-based full or partial scholarships for Camp's resident, day and family camp programs.

Facilities - My how we have grown over the years! Camp now consists of 46 buildings, many of which need constant care. Please help us preserve the past.

Programs - High quality, well thought-out, diverse programming has helped make CSM one the best camps in the country. Help us keep this tradition alive.

Greatest Need - Not sure where to direct your gift...let us put it where the most needs exist and know that you will be helping to make the CSM experience better.
